Ring in the New Year with style at The Line, where chilli crab, iced Boston lobster, and a decadent chocolate-coated strawberry tower will be among the many treats available at the restaurant’s 16 theatre kitchens during its New Year’s Day brunch and dinner. It’s offered from 12pm to 3pm (from S$108 per adult), and again from 6pm to 10:30pm (from S$79).

2. The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore
Book your table before it’s too late for The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore’s sumptuous Christmas Day Vintage Champagne Brunch at Colony. Offering gourmet foods from seven themed kitchens, this exclusive affair complements its tempting array of Chinese, Malaysian, Western, and other cuisines with such seasonal delicacies as honey-glazed gammon ham and truffle snow. Unlimited Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage Blanc 2006, Rose 2006, cocktails, and mulled wine — along with visits from Santa Claus and Santarina — ensure it’ll be a merry Christmas, indeed. Two seatings (10.45am and 1.30pm) are available, and prices start at S$99 for children, and S$198 for adults.

3. Mandarin Oriental, Singapore
Dig into a bountiful spread from the accomplished kitchens at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, which hosts lavish Christmas Eve and Christmas Day buffets and prix-fixe dinners at four of its signature bars and restaurants. On Christmas Eve, Italian eatery Dolce Vita offers a four- or five-course menu (S$138 and S$158; wine pairings optional) that includes a welcome glass of Champagne and choice of Wagyu beef tenderloin or monkfish fillet.
Unwrap your presents on Christmas morning, then come back for a special dim sum brunch buffet at Cherry Garden (S$72) or dinner buffet with barbecue specialties and a free-flow of wine (S$125) or Champagne (S$175) at Melt Café.

The hotel will be hosting its Capella Christmas Brunch (from S$198++) on 25 December, transforming hotel grounds into a bustling marketplace filled with food stations and upbeat music from a roving band.
Meanwhile, those who prefer a more personalised experience can head for the Capella Festive Afternoon Tea (S$39.90++) at the property’s designer home-style kitchen, Chef’s Table.
Available from 3pm to 5pm on weekdays from until 30 December, diners will be treated to a series of Yuletide delights, such as the Christmas Feuillete with Parmesan and Dark Chocolate Cheesecake with Gingerbread Crust, served a la minute.
