National Crab Day At Rise Restaurant

  • Whoever knew there was a day dedicated to our favourite crustacean, and those who adore it? Trust Americans to come up with such fads. After all, it’s said that over a million tons of crab are consumed yearly. Perhaps, that’s something worth celebrating after all.

We’re not complaining though. The tradition has spilled over to the far-flung shores of Singapore, right at the doorstep of Marina Bay Sands Hotel’s Rise restaurant, to be exact.

For one day only on 9 March, the restaurant will be serving 15 different types of crab dishes. This is in addition to its buffet spread. Don’t just expect the usual Singapore Chilli Crab with fried mantou, there’s also an Avocado and crab salad and Thai Style Braised Crab Vermicelli. Rates go at $88++ per adult, and $38++ per child.
