Penfolds Wine Dinner at Grand Hyatt Singapore’s Mezza9

  • Penfolds will be hosting a wine dinner in celebration of the launch of its Penfolds Collection 2016.

    Paired with a five-course meal, guests can look forward to a night of indulgance with eight of the brand’s most celebrated wines.

    Highlights of the meal include a starter of Australian rock oysters, Tasmanian scallops, Spencer Gulf wild king prawns and South Australian blue swimmer crab, paired with 2015 Reserve Bin A Adelaide Hills Chardonnay and Bin 311 Tumbarumba Chardonnay.

    The main course includes a slow-roasted Wagyu beef, paired with 2014 Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2013 Penfolds St Henri Shiraz Bin 407, while the Penfolds Grange will be served with a baked Mont d’Or cheese with black truffle.

    To help you appreciate the wines to their fullest, Peter Gago, Penfolds’ chief winemaker and Patrick Dowling, the brand’s winemaking ambassador, will be there to talk about each wine showcased.
