Celebrate National Day with Local Flavours at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa

  • There’s no need to join the festivities on the floating platform at Marina Bay to feel the national spirit with other patriots. Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa is throwing a National Day buffet dinner to celebrate our country’s 52nd birthday, and that’s right up our alley because it involves everything Singaporean: a buffet that’s set to wow with local delights, dining with loved ones, and a celebratory atmosphere far from the madding crowds.

    Silver Shell Cafe will be serving local dishes from live kitchen theatres. Indulge in Bamboo Chicken Briyani, Chilli Crab, Fish Head Curry and Cereal Prawns. You’ll also get to mix your own pot of rojak and enjoy a claypot steamboat.

    Themed drinks and desserts will round up the evening. There’s the White Chocolate Durian Cake, Strawberry Glazed Chempedak Choux Puff, Chendol Tiramisu with Gula Melaka amongst other local spins on well-loved desserts. The bar has also concocted three local cocktails (S$12++ each), Rasa Rose, Kopi’ O’Clock and Chendol Rum.
