The mall welcomes two new fragrance houses: Kilian Paris and Frédéric Malle
In the heart of Singapore, Kilian Paris and Frédéric Malle have unfurled their petals.
Kilian Paris
Located on the first level of Raffles City, Kilian Paris embodies the legacy of its founder, a descendant of a prestigious liquor lineage. This maison creates high-quality, artisanal fragrances, weaving together a rich tapestry of cultural influences and personal stories. Iconic scents like “Love, Don’t Be Shy,” “Black Phantom,” and “Intoxicated” beckon the curious to embark on an olfactory adventure, each fragrance unfolding its own unique narrative.
The Kilian Bar stands as a centrepiece, paying homage to the brand’s roots in fine spirits and the vibrant pulse of Parisian nightlife. Its art deco design, with a Carrara marble counter and dark oak accented by bronze, invites guests into an atmosphere reminiscent of the most sophisticated hotel bars.
Just a step away is the Gift Bar, where personalisation takes precedence. Here, customers can engrave their selections with initials or names, adding a touch of individuality. Adjacent to this is the Olfactive Bar, showcasing the maison’s signature carafes, elegantly categorised into five olfactive families: The Fresh, The Narcotics, The Cellars, The Smokes, and The Liquors.
Frédéric Malle
A mere stone’s throw away, Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle offers a distinctly different olfactory experience. This thoughtfully designed boutique juxtaposes the iconic red of Editions de Parfums with cool blues from the home collection, framed by rich oak and sleek metallic accents—creating a visually striking space that invites exploration.
Each corner beckons with discovery; visitors can embark on their personal olfactory journey starting at the metallic stair shelf, where fragrances are organised by olfactive families. An extensive array of body care products—from hand creams and soaps to body butters and hair mists—complements the fragrance offerings.
The boutique also features a perfumer’s library, celebrating the craftsmanship behind each creation. Customers can delve into the stories of the greatest noses in perfumery, while smelling columns provide an olfactory mirror experience, allowing them to appreciate the sillage of each scent fully.
Acknowledging the delightful challenge of exploring an abundance of fragrances, the maison offers an interactive “Make a Match” questionnaire on an iPad. It analyses customer preferences, helping to streamline the selection process and ensuring that each visitor finds their perfect scent match—because in the world of fragrance, everyone deserves a little bit of personal flair.
