Those who complete the training will receive a certificate from Club Med and Trifecta
With snowfall in popular regions like Hokkaido, Niseko, and the Alps just a few weeks away, we’re sure avid skiers have begun making their travel reservations. If you’ve always wanted to carve your way through white powder but have never tried your hand (and feet) at winter sports, you may harbour a different form of reservation. After all, who wants to spend all that time and money flying out to the mountains only to feel bogged down by anxiety and self-doubt upon arrival?
Club Med, together with Trifecta, Asia’s first indoor snow, surf, and skate attraction, proffer a solution. The two brands have partnered over a shared mission to make skiing and snowboarding more accessible, launching a series of snow-sports activations that includes the creation of the Club Med Snow Academy. Leveraging on Club Med’s decades-long expertise in crafting premium all-inclusive mountain vacations, the academy provides extensive snow lessons taught on Trifecta’s ski simulator and dry slope, located in Orchard road.
“We are thrilled to partner with Trifecta to offer a unique training experience in advance of their vacation at Club Med’s snow resorts,” says Olivier Monceau, general manager, Club Med Singapore and Malaysia. “With over 20 snow resorts across the globe, we are confident that Singaporeans will see the value in training from Singapore before experiencing the best that Club Med has to offer without wasting a minute on the slopes.”
Those who sign up for the academy will be closely guided and assessed by Trifecta instructors to ensure their progress. Students who manage to complete the training will then receive a certificate endorsed by both Club Med and Trifecta.
Additionally, the two brands have announced their plans for an upcoming snow-sports competition. Set for Saturday, 16 November 2024, the competition will have a host of prizes up for grabs, including: stays at Club Med, ski gears, and Trifecta class packs.
