Whether you’re renting a suite or doing a total buyout, the luxury accommodation in Bali makes a great stay
Yep, we’ve found yet another great escape to add to our list of luxury villas near Singapore.
On the southwestern coast of Bali lies the beach and the bay of Jimbaran, known as the home of luxury hotels due to pockets of secluded areas around this fishing village. And somewhere along the hills lie The Longhouse.
The expansive property hosts just six bedroom suites, all with breathtaking views over the treetops of Jimbaran. We recommend booking the entire property if the numbers suffice; for couples and small families, each suite (from US$190, S$258 a night) offers its own identity and plenty of privacy.
Each suite has been uniquely named and designed to reflect an Indonesian island. Take for example the Sumatra Suite, a homage to the lush forests and verdant jungle of Indonesia’s largest island. Expect a decor of warm wood and tropical green. Don’t just listen to us, this suite has the prettiest indoor/outdoor bathroom, with a huge stone bathtub set outdoors in jungle greenery.
Then there’s the Sumba Suite, paying tribute to the people of Sumba, who have perfected the art of Ikat tapestry to an exceptionally high standard. An excellent example of Sumba Ikat forms a centrepiece of the queen size canopy bed, and the bathroom is made almost completely of pale gold onyx stone using both rough and smooth surfaces.
Expect dining to be memorable too as the property offers daily programmes from garden barbecues to candlelit banquets.
We’ll leave you to discover the rest of the unique suites, but with the dedicated and innovative team of staff, a delightful stay and dining experience is for certain.
