The world-renowned hospitality group has found a home in one of South America’s most popular countries, just 45 minutes away from the Los Cabos international Airport
Where there’s peace and privacy, seclusion and serenity, you can be sure that’s where the next Aman will be. The resort and hotel group announced its newest addition to the family, Amanvari in Mexico. Located on the East Cape of the Baja Peninsula in Costa Palmas, guests are promised views of the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range, golden sand dunes, and the tranquil azure waters.
The Two-Year Wait
The resort, located between the sea and mountains of Costa Palmas is scheduled to open in 2020. When complete, Amanvari will be home to just 20 bi-level pavilions and an initial release of 24 private residences.
Prefer a desert view? What about one of the mountains, or oasis? You can take your pick at Amanvari. Each private sanctuary boasts elevated views of the landscape, which can be appreciated through floor-to-ceiling windows, the outdoor terrace and wraparound sundeck. Some pavilions come with a cantilevered pool, for those interested in sunset soaks in solitude.
The Main Pavilion
At the heart of Amanvari lies an open-air atrium set on the three-kilometre beach. There, you can enjoy world-class fare at each of the three restaurants, read a book in the library, and enjoy quiet time in the lounge. A 30-m infinity pool that also incorporates four hot tubs makes the perfect social setting after a day’s rest. To ease the knots and kinks, make a reservation at the Aman Spa pavilion, nestled just steps away from the main communal ground.
While most Amanjunkies love the brand for its uncanny ability to help them disconnect from the fast-paced life, the adventures out there are quite a treat. Take a road trip around the winding mountain trails, go horseback riding, enjoy a dip in freshwater swim holes and waterfalls, or dive with migrant whales and take part in sailing and fishing expeditions.
Live The Aman Life
What’s better than living the Aman life a few weeks or months a year? Having it on a permanent mode, if you will. The ultimate Amanjunkies will take to owning one of the private residences for sale. Depending on which you pick — four to seven-bathroom options are available — you’ll enjoy panoramic scenes that depict sand dunes, the Sea of Cortes, a world-class golf course (part of the Costa Palmas xxx) or organic farms. The collection of residences span from 1,207sqm and go up to 1,858sqm with seamless indoor-to-outdoor living spaces. As owner, you’re free to design your dream Aman home, adding entertainment rooms, a fitness centre, and even a theatre.
The resort adds to Costa Palmas portfolio of luxury living, which includes 18-acres of organic farms, a members-only Costa Balmas Beach & Yacht Club (whic Aman Residence Owners are invited to join), and a Four Seasons Resort.
