Presenting the hottest properties for another home away from home

There are beautiful homes, and there are inimitably spectacular ones. The perfect abode, in our definition, is one that laps up magnificent city skyline or ocean views, with a capacious terrace and a slew of posh (and exclusive) facilities and amenities for residents to enjoy. Here, we’ve compiled a list of luxury real estate listings from around the world that seem to have it all–all you have to do is pick and choose.

The Ocean Club, Four Seasons Residences | The Bahamas

Privacy and flexibility are the major features of these four residential buildings, with private plunge pools for the penthouses and large front gardens and swimming pools for the villas on the ground floor. Many of the residences, which also include two- to four-bedroom apartments, will also have a ‘lock-off’. This is a self-contained unit with a separate entrance that owners can choose to rent while staying in the main residence or vice versa. Residents will enjoy views of the ocean through floor-to-ceiling windows or from the expansive veranda. An open floorplan, premium fixtures, cabinetry and fittings complete the list of features that prospective residents can look forward to.

The exteriors were designed by 10SB to highlight timeless Bahamian architectural details such as whitewashed walls, large overhangs and columns with ornate detailing. The interiors by Champalimaud Design continue this aesthetic, with a natural palette of light and dark woods as well as off-white fabrics, wicker furniture, soaring pitched ceilings and plants reflecting the lush, local vegetation. Residents will also enjoy on-site fitness and dining amenities as well as spaces for children.

One Wall Street | New York, USA

In a city of skyscrapers, One Wall Street makes its presence felt with its grand art deco facade. It was built in 1930 to house the offices of the American commercial bank, Irving Trust Company, which was acquired by The Bank of New York Mellon in 1988. Macklowe Properties, which is known for developing properties that transform the face of New York City, bought the building in 2018 and undertook the largest residential renovation project in the city’s history. Externally, nothing much has changed. But internally, the bank’s offices are now luxury residences that feature world-class design and unmatched amenities. Unit 2501, for example, a three-bedroom apartment with 3,078 sq ft of interior and exterior space, was designed by Yellow House Architects to echo the building’s art deco design juxtaposed with modern pieces.

In addition to the residences, which include studios as well as one- and two-bedroom apartments, the building also houses The One Club. Accessible only to residents, the 100,000 sq ft Club offers a co-working space called One Works, a full-time concierge and wellness and dining facilities. Occupying 42,000 sq ft on the lower levels is Whole Foods Market, making it the largest natural and organic foods retailer in Lower Manhattan.

Fendi Private Residences | Crans-Montana, Switzerland

Two century-old names have come together to create this exceptional residential project in the Swiss Alps. Luxury Italian brand Fendi is collaborating with Michèle Luyet, a fourth-generation representative of the former Alpina & Savoy Hotel, to transform the property into an architectural marvel. Renowned Italian architect Marco Costanzi worked with local firm Comina Architecture on the interiors of the residences and suites. Nods to the luxury Italian brand are evident throughout, from the smooth carved Valmalenco stone structure with its elegant geometric lines—referencing Karl Lagerfeld’s iconic Fendi Astuccio reversible fur cape—to the Fendi Casa fur-clad furnishings.

Residents will enjoy access to a full-service concierge, private dining services and state-of-the-art wellness amenities. This project also prioritises sustainability and thus features all-round insulation, electrochromic glass on south-facing facades, solar roofs supplying electricity for communal areas and electric cars, and a rainwater recovery basin for watering the lush garden on the property. The first units are expected to be delivered by the end of June 2026.
