Bottega Veneta launches Accademia Labor et Ingenium
Located in Montebello Vicentino and Povolaro Dueville, the academy serves as a permanent workshop for Bottega Veneta employees and students. Emphasising its dedication to artisanal craftsmanship, it features a comprehensive training program led by master artisans, guaranteeing employment upon completion. The academy also focuses on upskilling existing employees, fostering regional creativity, and initiating collaborations. Its first external partnership, which started on 16 October 2023, offers a seven-week masterclass in bag design and product development with Università Iuav di Venezia.
Bugatti completes American tour
Bugatti Grand Tour America 2023 took 20 hyper sports cars through Utah and Colorado, starting at The Lodge at Blue Sky in Park City. The journey featured stops at the restored 1924 Conoco Station in Helper, Utah, and Ulum Moab resort. Unexpected rain and snow added adventure, highlighting the cars’ safety features. The tour continued through Aspen, adjusting plans for weather challenges. Highlights included a private lunch, shopping at Hermès, crafting ‘Western’ hats at Kemo Sabe, and a celebratory dinner at Catch, concluding a memorable 978km Bugatti experience.
Rimac Nevera partners IONITY
Creator of the world’s fastest electric hypercar comes together with Europe’s largest open-brand high-power charging network. Nevera owners, limited to 150, receive eight years of free charging at IONITY stations across 24 European countries. The Nevera boasts a 500kW charging capacity, allowing zero to 80 per cent in 25 minutes. IONITY installs a hub at Rimac Campus, Zagreb, enhancing the global hub’s sustainability. To mark the collaboration, a Rimac Nevera x IONITY Tour across Europe is underway, starting in Zagreb and ending in Saint-Tropez.
Ca’ del Bosco opens new visitor experience
The Italian producer of Franciacorta wine marks 52 harvests with a comprehensive expansion of its visit route, celebrating the growth from 1.5 to 283 hectares across 11 towns in Franciacorta. Falconi Studio designs the new reception with a circular wooden roof and Barragán red walls, paying homage to the surrounding forests. The cellars feature a Starry sky vault and a Dome of the Senses for sensory experiences. The expansion culminates with an artwork-filled space and a colossal inverted cone covered with 30,000 bottles.
Karl Lagerfeld Maison releases new collection
Unveiled at Milan Design Week 2023, the Saint-Guillaume living collection is inspired by Lagerfeld’s Parisian office with Art Deco influences. The sofa boasts a double-coloured design with various wood options, creating a consistent aesthetic with the armchair. Saint-Guillaume coffee tables come in different sizes, crafted from metals with varied top finishes. Each collection is a collaboration with a guest partner, with the inaugural season designed by Matteo Nunziati.
Changi Airport Group curates stunning selection
Changi Airport Group’s World of Wines and Spirits (WOWS) returns in partnership with Lotte Duty Free, showcasing over 100 premium liquor products from 56 brands available for purchase online till February 2024. Besides personalised shopping facilitated by a Changi Airport concierge, there will be an exclusive signature event on 28 October 2023 at Capitol Theatre featuring Michelin-starred chefs crafting a unique menu inspired by four countries. For the first time, public members can attend the private event, experiencing an immersive epicurean journey with industry experts in masterclasses.
