An exclusive Michelin-starred gourmet experience awaits

Making his debut in Singapore, Chef Fei will be taking over Cherry Garden at Mandarin Oriental for an exclusive three-day Michelin-starred experience showcasing his culinary masterpieces

The renowned Chef Fei of Jiang by Chef Fei, an acclaimed restaurant that has upheld its two Michelin stars for six consecutive years in the Michelin Guide Guangzhou, will be making an exclusive three-day appearance at Cherry Garden this August.

Hailing from Chaoshan, Guangdong, Chef Fei brings more than three decades of culinary mastery and has helmed a multitude of celebrated restaurants across China. From 1 to 3 August, gourmands are invited to indulge their senses with Chef Fei’s innovative renditions of Teochew-Cantonese cuisine through a thoughtfully curated five-course lunch tasting and eight-course dinner tasting menu.

Discerning diners can expect a dive into a realm of unparalleled flavours with Chef Fei’s signature dishes. The Marinated Celtuce with Pickles appetiser kick starts the experience on a refreshing note, before a delicate umami-flavoured broth of Canadian Geoduck with Seaweed is served; this exquisite ingredient is one that makes a common appearance on Chef Fei’s menu, albeit often served in a range of unique styles. The Steamed Yellow Croaker takes the spotlight though, with a tantalising marriage between savoury flavours of yellow turnip and robust notes of fermented soybeans, both an ode to key ingredients used in Teochew and Cantonese cuisines. Wrapping up the dining experience is a chilled Double-boiled Silver Fungus, nourishing with a hint of citrus.

Available exclusively at Cherry Garden at Mandarin Oriental only from 1 to 3 August 2024, the five-course lunch tasting menu is priced at S$128++ per diner, and the eight-course dinner tasting menu will cost S$198++ per diner.
