Jaguar’s Classic E-Type Commemorative

It’s been 50 years since the last Jaguar E-Type rolled off the production line, and 50 years too long. This month, in celebration of the iconic sports car, two collectible Series I Jaguar Classic E-Type Commemorative models have been created, but only for a private client in Southeast Asia. Under the watchful eye of dedicated Jaguar Classic experts, with upgrades orchestrated over 2,000 hours, the cars boast Bridge of Weir tan leather seats, interior by jewellery designers Deakin & Francis, and unique engravings of a genuine early Series I E-Type blueprint. They also come with the famous 3.8-litre engine, complete with electronic fuel injection, a five-speed manual gearbox, and various modern comforts.

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts celebrate a milestone opening

Frequent travellers to Shanghai will be pleased to learn that St. Regis has unveiled St. Regis on the Bund, a 192-room property set along Shanghai’s historic Bund district. Owned by Pacific Eagle Real Estate, the new hotel marks the brand’s 60th global property and offers stunning views of the leisurely Huangpu river and the towering Pudong skyline.

Designed by Norman Foster and Heatherwick Studio, the exterior of the hotel sports a modern, boxy silhouette that’s elegantly contrasted by a subdued copper colourway—lending the property an old-world charm. Inside, you’ll find an Art Deco-style design language, reminiscent of Shanghai in the early 20th century. Adorned with 72 original artworks by artists like Ma Tianyu and Shi Qi, the hotel’s interior spaces are imbued with Chinese culture, evinced by the delicate embroidery and magnolia motifs scattered throughout.

The Chanel J12 Boat Race

As an expression of shared philosophy, one of an uncompromising pursuit of excellence, the oldest major sporting event in the UK (The Boat Race) is stoked to have Chanel as its Title sponsor and Timekeeping Partner for many years to come. The historic boat race between Oxford and Cambridge Universities will be known as The Chanel J12 Boat Race, and will take place on 13 April 2025 along the Championship Course between Putney and Mortlake in London. The race, which will be attended by over 250,000 spectators and watched by millions on the TV, encapsulates the raison dêtre of both universities—that is, to develop and proudly showcase exceptional talent, the same way Chanel supports outstanding creatives.
