A new luxury resort and residential destination is opening in Aspen, Colorado this winter

By Robb Report Singapore 10 September, 2025

Chalet Alpina will be home to the new high-speed Lift One, a private mountain members club and ski-in/ski-out residences

Winter is coming, and so is Chalet Alpina, a luxury resort and residential retreat on its way to beautiful Aspen. Set to open later in the year, the property will find itself at the base of Aspen Mountain, bringing even more opulence to the country’s most exclusive—and notoriously expensive—market.

As part of a broader revitalisation of the Lift One corridor, Chalet Alpina will be home to the new high-speed Lift One, a public parking space that connects visitors to Downtown Aspen, and the Aspen Ski History Museum located in a restored skier’s chalet. Beyond a luxury hotel and world-class amenities, there will also be a private mountain members club and a limited collection of ski-in/ski-out residences that provide co-ownership opportunities and additional amenities.

Currently in development by the Irongate Group, Chalet Alpina will be the area’s grandest ski resort to date, with modern mountain architecture by Guerin Glass Architects and sophisticated yet playful interiors by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio. Think of it as a new kind of basecamp for Aspen, bringing the spirit of European alpine luxury to the Rockies with design, culture, wellness and adventure.

“The inspiration behind the design of Chalet Alpina takes cues from Aspen’s history, blending the classic ski destination aesthetic with thoughtful details that bring a sense of luxury, comfort, fun and tradition,” said Martin Brudnizki. “From the resort to the residences and club spaces, the design weaves together Aspen’s enduring legacy with rich, modern layers that offer something truly unique to the charming mountain village; a space that feels both timeless and transportive.”
