A private path to a cognac that’s entirely yours; Hennessy brought Paradis back to Singapore with a by-invite-only sensorial showcase at Le Freeport, the city’s modern fortress for safeguarding and exhibiting valuables. Within this secured sanctuary, guests explored the maison’s most exceptional expression through sound, scent and taste, culminating in rare displays and discreet opportunities to collect
Back in August, Hennessy staged a rare homecoming for its most treasured blend with an intimate, invitation-only experience at Le Freeport–a high-security facility dedicated to the storage, preservation and private exhibition of valuables. The setting proved well-fitting: Paradis takes its name from the Paradis Cellar in the region of Cognac, which holds the house’s rarest eaux-de-vie, and is accessible to only a few. The Singapore presentation mirrored that quiet exclusivity with a carefully choreographed journey of discovery.

First created in 1979 by sixth-generation Master Blender Maurice Fillioux, Paradis blends more than a hundred eaux-de-vie (some of which having been matured for up to whopping 130 years) into a luminous, amber-gold harmony. On the nose and palate, it is silky and voluptuous, unfurling delicate jasmine, subtle cinnamon and exotic fruit, before a lingering, deeply refined finish.

Beyond the tasting, La Chambre du Hennessy assembled a seldom-seen array of limited editions and collector expressions: Paradis Unlimited; Paradis x Lorenz Bäumer NBA 3L; Paradis Gold Edition; the Chinese New Year 2023, 2024 and 2025 editions; and the sought-after Paradis x Loewe 3L collaboration. Guests were offered discreet on-site acquisition, with Hennessy Hands personalisation providing custom engraving to mark the occasion. Live music—a modern guzheng performance—echoed Paradis’ musical origins and Fillioux’s vision of cognac as symphony, blending tradition with contemporary artistry.
“As a symbol of rarity and refinement, Paradis continues to resonate with discerning collectors and connoisseurs,” noted Sebastien Vilmot, managing director of Moët Hennessy Southeast Asia, framing the showcase as both a celebration of heritage and an expression of the region’s growing sophistication.

Removed from distraction, the Le Freeport presentation distilled what makes Paradis singular: a cognac shaped by generations, presented with ceremony, and destined for life’s most intentional moments; whether contemplated in solitude, shared over a curated table, or raised in quiet celebration.
