The Dalmore releases the third edition of its Cask Curation Series

By Robb Report Singapore 19 December, 2025

The Red Wine Cask Edition by The Dalmore continues to explore the impact of casks from another world-class winery

Christmas is approaching and if you’re still on the hunt for a gift for that special someone, The Dalmore’s latest addition to its Cask Curation Series is pretty something. That is, if that special someone loves their Highland single malts.

A celebration of The Dalmore’s innovative approach to cask maturation, an age-old method that wastes no time moving spirit from rare cask to rare cask, the Cask Curation Series is on to its third chapter: The Red Wine Cask Edition.

With the help of Château Mont-Redon and fourth-generation winemaker Pierre Fabre, The Dalmore gained access to the freshest Châteauneuf-du-Pape casks, which held blends of Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre and more. Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a region in Southern Rhône Valley famous for its rich and jammy red blends, and this was the flavour profile The Dalmore wanted to explore and to showcase the incredible impact it could have on its new make spirit.

The same 2023 Château Mont-Redon casks were then used to finish each of the three whiskies that comprise the set—a 24, 34 and 42 Years Old—demonstrating how such flavour can embolden The Dalmore’s spirit at different age statements. Perfect for Christmas, the 24 Years Old brings red berries, crème brûlée and dark toffee to the palate, while the 43 Years Old offers hints of dark chocolate, honeyed mango and warming spice.

Yours for £36,100. Only 150 sets are available, each presented in a blue case handcrafted by Italian luggage maker AB Florence.
