Aman Nai Lert Bangkok is Thailand’s newest urban sanctuary

By Amos Chin 10 February, 2026

Located within the eponymous park, Aman Nai Lert Bangkok is Thailand’s newest urban sanctuary

Amid the vibrancy of central Bangkok, a new refuge has quietly emerged. Aman Nai Lert, the brand’s second Thai property, offers an elegant counterpoint to the city’s energy, an enclave of calm set within the leafy grounds of its namesake park. Located just five minutes by car from CentralWorld, the hotel sits in verdant seclusion, where century-old trees frame the 2.8-hectare estate and the city beyond feels reassuringly distant.

Opened in April 2025, the property marks a considered evolution of Aman’s presence in Thailand, joining the flagship Amanpuri in Phuket. Designed by long-time collaborator Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston Architects, the hotel blends Aman’s pared-back design language with discreet references to the adjacent Heritage Home, creating a contemporary sanctuary that is closely attuned to its historic setting.

The hotel’s 52 suites, starting from a generous 92sqm, set a new benchmark for luxury in Bangkok. More impressive than their scale is their intelligence. Each suite is fully smart- enabled, with an iPad controlling lighting, temperature, in- room dining, and concierge communication. Housekeeping requests, from pressing to steaming, are handled with a single tap. PressReader is integrated, offering access to thousands of international publications. The technology is seamless and designed to disappear into the background.

Interiors are calm and assured. Warm woods, muted tones, and precise detailing create a residential atmosphere that is elevated by Aman’s restraint. Bathrooms are a highlight, with oversized layouts, separate shower and toilet areas, a sculptural bathtub, adjustable vanity lighting, and a thoughtful range of amenities, including a Dyson hairdryer with full attachments.

Aman Suite is the hotel’s defining statement. Occupying the entire 18th floor, its 516sqm area can be expanded by up to 713sqm if one or two junior suites are joined to the master suite. Aman Suite commands panoramic views of the park and city. A private spa with sauna, steam room, hot and cold plunge pools, and a water feature anchors the space. A cinema room, study, and expansive indoor and outdoor living areas complete a residence that feels both exceptional and entirely livable, supported by Aman’s discreet service.

Dining is equally assured. On the ninth floor, Arva brings Aman’s Italian concept to Bangkok, while 1872 (the birth year of Nai Lert, who is one of Thailand’s pioneering property developers), serves Western and Thai dishes, afternoon tea, and cocktails throughout the day.

The hotel’s culinary ambitions peak on the 19th floor. Sesui introduces a Japanese dining concept to the Aman portfolio, offering a sushi omakase experience that is centred on seafood flown in daily from Japan. Nearby, Hiori presents a teppanyaki omakase that is defined by controlled theatricality and technical finesse. Adjacent to both, the Cigar Bar offers Aman Club Founders a discreet retreat with a well-curated selection of cigars and spirits set against city views.

The hotel’s setting adds a further layer of depth. Guided visits to the Nai Lert Park Heritage Home provide insight into the life and legacy of one of Thailand’s early developers, lending cultural context to the stay.

For travellers moving between Aman destinations, the Bangkok property serves as a natural gateway. With 24 Aman properties across Asia, guests booking two or more consecutive nights enjoy privileges including daily breakfast, curated cultural experiences, a dedicated host, return airport transfers, and fast-track immigration services.

Across every touchpoint, the experience reflects Aman at its most assured. The service is measured, intuitive, and consistent. Few, if any, do it better.
