In our weekly series, we bring you the latest in luxury news around the world. This week’s highlights: Bvlgari’s leather goods and accessories, Loewe introduces the Amazona 180, Dior’s forever glow

Oetker Hotels opens on Palm Beach
After snapping up the Chesterfield in Palm Beach, Florida and stripping it back to the studs, Oetker Hotels has reopened the space as the Vineta; a throwback to its earliest days in 1926, when the hotel opened as the Lido-Venice before being renamed as the Vineta and eventually become the Chesterfield. As the answer to European elegance-meet-Palm Beach luminosity, the hotel glows with Tino Zervudachi’s whimsical flourishes—wave motifs, feather and palm prints, starry constellations—and European elegance balanced with Palm Beach luminosity. The room count has been reduced from 53 to 41, sacrificing quantity for quality of stay, which can also be seen in the culinary offerings; Coco’s, the signature indoor-outdoor restaurant, features a brand-first culinary crossover from sister property Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.

Bvlgari’s fall/winter 2026 leather goods and accessories
Balancing modern design with the enduring appeal of Bvlgari’s signature style, new leather goods and accessories have arrived in warm, vibrant, gem-inspired colours, treated with unprecedented workmanship. Highlights include the Tubogas Sphere evening bag, enriched with spherical ends that recall the 1970s Tubogas bracelets, and the Serpenti Cuore “1968”, which distills Bvlgari’s legendary creation into a sculptural heart-shaped form.

Bee de Chaumet
More sophisticated than ever, the new Bee de Chaumet collection is back in unexpected forms, reinvigorating the codes of jewellery with a healthy dose of modernity. With a play on different golds and combinations, the ways the pieces can be worn are seemingly endless, allowing the wearer’s personality to shine with mirror-polished gold and the most brilliant diamonds.

Loewe introduces the Amazona 180
As part of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s spring/summer 2026 debut collection, the Amazona 180 revisits one of Loewe’s most storied bags through a modern lens. First introduced in 1975, what emerged at a moment of societal and cultural shift in Spain—its soft, agile shape was designed for a new generation of women entering the workplace—continues to present an unwavering ease and poise. Rendered in soft calfskin with a subtle shine and silky touch, the bag takes on a relaxed silhouette anchored by a single toron top handle. A two-faced bag with a slouchy attitude, the Amazona 180 offers three carry options, making it adaptable across seasons and occasions.
