Milan Design Week: Marni is taking residency at the iconic Pasticceria Cucchi for three months

By Robb Report Singapore 8 April, 2026

From 20 April to 15 July 2026, Marni x Cucchi will be a celebration of Marni’s signature aesthetic and Cucchi’s historic heritage

If and when you’re headed for Milan Design Week later this month (20 to 26 April 2026), be sure to make a stop at Pasticceria Cucchi, an iconic pastry shop and cafe that’s attracted a fashionable circle of individuals since 1936. As it continues to be a popular gathering spot under the hands of the Monti family, heirs to the late Giacomo Bulleri, it will set the stage for a three-month-long pop-up by Italian fashion house Marni, designed in collaboration with Milan-based interior gurus RedDuo Studio.

From 20 April to 15 July 2026, Marni x Cucchi, as it’s called, will be a celebration of Marni’s signature aesthetic and Cucchi’s historic heritage. Think bold, graphic patterns of red and green, retro-inspired stripes and polka dots, and a bespoke bow-tie logo fusing both identities throughout the cafe, from the sugar packets and coffee cups to the milk jugs and staff uniforms. Guests may also purchase the cappuccino and coffee cups from Marni’s Via Montenapoleone boutique.

Stop by as early as 7.30am for a morning coffee, and return later in the evening for an aperitif or two and stay until 9.30pm. Knowing the Italians and their love of aperitivo hour, there will be a special Spritz Menu curated by Martini, and even live musical performances every Thursday evening as a nod to Pasticceria Cucchi’s origins as a caffĂ©-concerto.
