May 2026 beauty launches: a curated collection of six new releases

May 2026 brings a range of new beauty launches, from skincare-make-up hybrids to olfactory portraits from Amouage. Here’s a look at the latest releases—you might just find a new favourite.

Sisley Black Rose Concentrate Radiant Youth Serum

Silent cellular ageing occurs behind the scenes while we are still young. Built around the brand’s exclusive Black Rose Molecular Extract, this serum’s formula arrives in a two- part packaging system that keeps fragile active ingredients separate until the moment of application. Beyond targeting cellular ageing, it combats dullness, dehydration, and uneven texture, while a signature blend of rose, magnolia, and geranium essential oils ensures the experience is as sensorial as it is effective.

Dior Forever Skin Glow and Skin Wear

Skincare-make-up hybrids are everywhere, but Dior is raising the standard. Reinventing its iconic foundations, Dior Beauty has infused both formulas with serum-level performance, delivering a flawless base with genuine skin benefits. Skin Glow’s ultra- soft, creamy formula acts like an optical refinement— reducing the appearance of pores and imperfections through highly reflective oils that diffuse light evenly across the skin. Skin Wear, by contrast, features mattifying micro-powders that correct imperfections and control shine without a powdery finish, preserving natural luminosity. Both contain hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and peptides to sustain healthier-looking skin, even after make-up removal.

Clarins Double Serum Foundation

Like its moniker suggests, Clarins’ new Double Serum Foundation marries skincare benefits with coverage. With a single pump, the dual-chamber system blends two efficacious skincare actives with make-up performance, promising medium-to-full coverage and a healthier complexion over time. Boasting proprietary innovations, it also features light-reflecting microcrystals that deliver luminosity, sans an oily finish, and a gentle enzymatic exfoliator that nourishes, smooths, and supports skin renewal.

The associated strapping technology relies on two polymers that create a second-skin effect, forming an invisible film that gently tightens the surface while moving with the skin’s natural expressions. Photo by Guerlain

Guerlain Abeille Royale New Youth Repair Eye Care

Guerlain’s cult-favourite Youth Watery Oil Serum gets a counterpart: an ultra-smoothing gel cream that deeply repairs ageing-related microdamage in the epidermis for a brighter, lifted, and visibly younger-looking area around the eyes. Using the same patented technology as the serum, along with newly developed technology, it gently tightens the surface and plumps the epidermis for up to eight hours, almost like a filler.

This second trilogy explores the geometry of time through three symbolic forms: a line, a dot and a circle. Photo by Amouage

Amouage The Essences Line 618, Remain, and Sequence

The fragrances in Amouage’s Essences Collection centre on the concept of time, and the three new additions—Line 618, Remain, and Sequence—are no exception. Unlike the others in the series, each of these olfactory portraits interprets time through geometric concepts.

Line 618 takes its cue from a straight line, embodying continuity and balance through a never-ending, sophisticated trail. It opens with black pepper and pineapple, moves to a heart of heliotrope and pine with creamy floral and green nuances, and deepens into a refined base of sandalwood, patchouli, and leather.

Remain draws inspiration from a dot, “a singular moment from which all time unfolds”, exhaling warmth, brightness, and sensuality with jasmine, ylang-ylang, patchouli, and ambergris.

Sequence nods to a circle, a universal symbol of renewal. Perfumer Julien Rasquinet interprets this through a composition that flows from light to depth and back— beginning with lychee and raspberry, warmed by saffron, enriched with tonka bean and rose, and anchored by leather and ambery woods.

Shu Uemura Block:Booster Charged Up

Primers are too often an afterthought, but not so at Shu Uemura. The brand’s conviction that beautiful make-up begins with a beautiful canvas has produced Block:Booster Charged Up, an SPF50 PA+++ primer enriched with vitamins and skincare benefits. It’s available in four shades: Energy Flush awakens the complexion, Lumi Blue restores cool clarity, Nude Beige evens skin tone, and Icy Mauve neutralises yellowness for a luminous finish.
