Alice: Into the New World

Following an immersive media art exhibition inspired by The Little Prince, Korean art-tech studio Groundseesaw brings us Alice: Into the New World, their take on the Lewis Carroll classic. Luminous 2025

Ring in 2026 in blazing colour and pulsating beats at Luminous 2025, the ultimate beachside countdown party. An unforgettable New Year’s Eve

Christmas Train Show

Where: Gardens by the Bay
Designed for both young and old, the second edition of the Christmas Train Show will take place at the Flower Dome, where visitors will embark on a festive voyage across Singapore, Denmark and America. Look forward to moving trains, intricate miniature landscapes, Lego creations and to mark Singapore’s 60th, a specially created G scale SMRT train that will wind past the iconic landmarks of Singapore.

Into the Modern
When: Now until 1 March 2026
Where: City Hall Wing, Level 3
Explore the largest French Impressionist exhibition in Southeast Asia, where iconic works by Pierre-August Renoir, Claude Monet and the like will be on display. Developed by the Museum of Fine Arts Boston in collaboration with National Gallery Singapore, this exhibition will highlight the enduring impact of Impressionism through themes of urban life, gender, land and environment. Peacock Power: Beauty and Symbolism Across Cultures

For a bird with dazzling feathers and a spectacular tail, it’s no wonder the peacock has long symbolised beauty, power and divinity. For centuries, its striking form has captivated artists of various cultures. At the Peranakan Museum, treasures from the National Collection and important lenders explore the bird’s presence in a broad range of artistic disciplines. Fear No Power

Where: National Gallery Singapore
Fear No Power: Women Imagining Otherwise explores the power of art through the perspectives of five trailblazing female artists from Southeast Asia. With the significance of women-centred approaches in shaping contemporary art across the region, this landmark exhibition will feature over 50 works from the 1960s to 2010s, many of which will be shown in Singapore for the first time. Nafasan Bumi ~ An Endless Harvest
When: 16 January to 31 May 2026
Where: Singapore Art Museum at Tanjong Pagar Distripark
At the third edition of the Singapore Art Museum’s Material Intelligence project—a platform for Southeast Asian artists pushing the boundaries of material practice—Indonesian artists Elia Nurvista and Bagus Pandega highlight the urgent global conversations in contemporary art. In a play of contrasts, the exhibition addresses environmental costs of economic growth, probing the infrastructures of extraction, colonial legacies and climate crisis. More here.

Worlds Beyond Reality – Monet’s Legacy II
When: 21 January to 28 March 2026
Where: Kwai Fung Hin Art Gallery
After 35 years of dedication to artists and their creative developments, Kwai Fung Hin, a homegrown art gallery in Hong Kong, will be opening its first overseas outpost at South Beach this 20 January 2026. Its inaugural exhibition, Worlds Beyond Reality – Monet’s Legacy II, will take viewers on a stroll through Monet’s garden in Giverny and the personal gardens of eight artists across generations. Look forward to an 1887 Monet masterpiece, set alongside the works of prominent contemporary artists like Teo Eng Seng, Ziad Dalloul and the like.

OneRepublic returns to Singapore
When: 2 March 2026
Where: Singapore Indoor Stadium
Grammy-nominated pop-rock band OneRepublic is making a return to Singapore with their From Asia, With Love tour. Expect an electrifying night of new material and their biggest hits, such as Counting Stars, Apologise and I Ain’t Worried. Tickets here.
