We took some of the season’s strongest menswear to its spiritual home: Naples, the birthplace of Italian tailoring
In Naples, where generations of master tailors have perfected the art of soft, hand-finished suits, style is woven into the city itself. Where better to try on fall’s most appealing menswear, the best of which is imbued with a distinctly Neapolitan sense of ease, lightness, and sprezzatura? Against the backdrop of grand palazzi, the weathered facades of medieval fortresses, and the markets and restaurants that still feed the city’s most talented craftsmen, the work of Brunello Cucinelli, Stefano Ricci, Brioni, and Cesare Attolini looks right at home.
