Cannes Film Festival 2019: Celebrity red carpet looks by Dior, Chanel and Ermenegildo Zegna that stole the spotlight

By Shreya Raj 17 May, 2019
72nd Cannes Film Festival

High couture looks that we admired most at the 72nd edition of Cannes Film Festival

While the recent camp-themed Met Gala saw a myriad of celebrities clad in the most intriguing and bizarre outfits, subtlety and elegance was the modus operandi for this year’s Cannes Film Festival. International cinema’s brightest stars graced the red carpet of the annual film festival in some of the most glamorous high couture gowns and tuxedos.

Stealing the spotlight were Dior and Chanel, two fashion houses whose stunning creations were seen on celebrities such as Lebanese actress Nadine Labaki, Chinese actress Jung Tian, American-Japanese model Kiko Mizuhara, Hollywood singer Selena Gomez and French actress Virginie Ledoyen. Adding to the list of red carpet glitterati were Spanish actor Javier Bardem and Polish filmmaker Pawel Pawlikowski, who arrived looking dapper in tuxedos from the Ermenegildo Zegna XXX collection. We picked our favourite jaw-dropping looks from the evening which we think deserve all our attention.
