Designed by André Fu Studio, Capella Taipei reflects Fu’s vision of a modern mansion that balances luxury with cultural heritage

This 1 April, the Capella Hotel Group is launching Capella Taipei, its first-ever property in Taiwan. Situated in the dynamic Songshan district, the hotel is an urban sanctuary that will be within reach of Taipei 101, artisanal boutiques and cultural treasures.

Designed by André Fu Studio, the renowned design practice behind Bangkok’s Dusit Thani and The Maybourne Bar in Los Angeles, Capella Taipei immerses guests in European elegance and delicate Eastern-inspired textures. Fu’s vision of a modern mansion balances bespoke luxury with cultural heritage, reflecting Taipei’s multifaceted spirit through light-filled spaces that seamlessly connect the indoors with the outdoors. Floor-to-ceiling windows also capture the wonder of soaring skyscrapers and distant mountains, with the verdant boulevards of Dunhua North Road to add that touch of serenity.

The 86-key hotel features 78 rooms and a selection of eight suites. This includes Balcony Rooms that perfectly frame Taiwan’s majestic mountain ranges, Pool Terrace Rooms that come with private plunge pools, and the Capella Suite, a 228-square-metre haven equipped with living and dining areas, and a private gym.

The extensive list of facilities will occupy guests from morning to night with a fitness centre, spa, flotation pod, and five distinct dining venues. Indulge in a restorative ritual, biohacking experience, or an intimate omakase, and take advantage of one of Capella’s signature programmes, if you’re a history buff. Capella Culturists can design a personalised experience, to be enjoyed from the comfort of The Living Room, or embark on a Capella Curates guided tour and explore it all, be it a visit to a scenic tea farm in the mountains or the city’s oldest neighbourhoods.

Reservations for accommodation and dining are now available.
