Unveiled ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix at The Singapore Edition’s Wonder Room, Chivas Regal’s Crystalgold made its Singapore debut, introduced by master blender Sandy Hyslop alongside global brand ambassador and F1 driver Charles Leclerc
In the slipstream of race week, Chivas Regal revealed Crystalgold, a new, crystal-clear expression designed to challenge expectations of Scotch while staying true to the house’s signature balance. Presented at an intimate showcase in The Singapore Edition’s Wonder Room, the launch was led by long-serving master blender Sandy Hyslop, with Charles Leclerc on hand to toast the occasion.

Crystalgold is the result of a bespoke blend refined through a pioneering filtration process: one that removes colour while retaining flavour. The aim, says Hyslop, is not to erase tradition but to enhance it: remarkable smoothness and clarity, without sacrificing the depth and character that define Chivas. The result is a spirit that drinks with the versatility of a clear pour yet carries the craft of a dark, oak-aged whisky. Enjoy it neat, on the rocks or worked into cocktails; either way, the profile is unmistakably Chivas.

Leclerc’s presence underscored the blend’s modern brief—precision and progress informed by legacy. As the brand’s Global Ambassador, the Ferrari driver fronts a launch that looks forward while acknowledging lineage, much like a driver balancing instinct with strategy. To celebrate, Chivas and Leclerc introduced the Crystalgold Spritz: with notes of citrus, elderflower and mint, lifted with champagne and finished with Crystalgold for an elegant, afternoon-to-evening serve.
On the nose and palate, Crystalgold offers apple pie, vanilla fudge and butterscotch with hints of orange zest, followed by sweet red apples, juicy pears and warming touches of cinnamon and ginger, closing on an exceptionally smooth finish. It’s pitched squarely at drinkers seeking lighter, more versatile options—reflecting a broader shift in occasions and taste.
Availability begins with select partners across Singapore, from Lavo, Sushisamba, Atlas, to Mondrian Hotel Duxton and Nutmeg & Clove for early pours, bringing this statement of clarity to bar carts and back bars alike. Please enjoy responsibly.
