Singapore’s golfing scene is about to swing into an exclusive new league with the opening next year of a five-star hotel, Dusit Thani Laguna, alongside the internationally renowned Laguna National Golf & Country Club’s Masters and Classic championship golf courses.
In collaboration with the Dusit International group, Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore will bring the hotel company’s famed Thai hospitality to a 198-room hotel resort with golf and sea views.
The courses themselves, which have hosted members of the golfing elite including Tiger Woods, Ernie Els and Vijay Singh, are currently undergoing multi-million dollar upgrades.
While the resort will attract local and overseas golfing enthusiasts, it is also designed to cater for guests with broader interests. State-of-the-art business and meeting facilities make it a venue for high-value deal-making as well as large-scale business or recreational events. The Forest Restaurant will feature five show kitchens and their different cuisines, from Straits Chinese and Southeast Asian to Japanese, Indian and Western. For the ultimate getaway, the in-house spa provides treatments in a Thai-inspired ambience.
