Rouge Bouheur 2026 Millésime melds haute parfumerie, fine jewellery craftsmanship, and lunar new year symbolism in one exceptional release
Guerlain marks the Year of the Fire Horse with the launch of Rouge Bouheur 2026 Millésime, the third numbered, limited-edition fragrance in its coveted Exceptional Rendezvous series. A celebration of vitality, audacity, and untamed freedom—the defining traits of the Fire Horse—the release is expressed through a meticulously crafted reinterpretation of the maison’s iconic Bee Bottle.
An annual tradition, Guerlain’s Exceptional Rendezvous sees the historic Bee Bottle revisited in highly collectible, numbered editions. For 2026, the maison draws inspiration from the lunar calendar, continuing the narrative established by the 2024 and 2025 Millésimes. Once again, Guerlain partners with Atelier Truscelli, tapping the artisanal jewellery house’s savoir faire to elevate the bottle into a sculptural objet d’art.
Founded by Francesco Truscelli, whose collaboration with Guerlain dates back to 2007, the atelier brings a shared philosophy of craftsmanship and reverence for detail to the creation. The bottle itself is precision-blown by Pochet du Courval, one of the maison’s historic glassmakers since 1853, and rendered in a radiant, incandescent red glass—a hue synonymous with prosperity and good fortune in Chinese culture. The bottle’s 69 signature bees shed their traditional gilding in favour of a refined, tone-on-tone finish that enhances the modernity of the design.

Crowning the bottle is its most striking flourish: a majestic horse’s head, sculpted with exacting detail and gilded in 24-carat gold. The ornament is hand-set with 79 Swarovski crystals—an almond-cut crystal forming the eye, with 78 round crystals flowing along the mane—underscoring the seamless dialogue between high jewellery and fine perfumery. A delicate golden cord, hand-tied by Guerlain’s Dames de Table, completes the piece.
Housed within this precious flacon is the exclusive fragrance, Rouge Bonheur, a luminous and vibrant fresh and floral composition created specially for the festive occasion. The perfume opens with a sparkling and zesty character, featuring lively pink peppercorn and punchy ginger. This spicy start mellows into an incredibly sensual floral heart fashioned around the delicate presence of rose and the creamy, milky roundness of magnolia. Finally, the fragrance finds its woody depth in powerful base notes of dry cedar, punctuated with resinous inflections, before enveloping the skin in the tender serenity of white musk.
For collectors in Singapore, this precious, heirloom-worthy edition is exceptionally exclusive, with only 25 pieces available starting in January 2026. Offered at SGD 1,300, the 125ml bottle also comes complete with a 30ml spray for portability.
