The forward-thinking independent watchmaker expands its presence in Southeast Asia with a new space created in partnership with Cortina Watch

H. Moser & Cie. has added Singapore to its network of select global boutiques, unveiling a new outpost at Raffles City in collaboration with Cortina Watch. Situated within one of the country’s most well-known shopping malls, the boutique marks an anticipated expansion into a market that has long demonstrated an appetite for independent horology.

Situated along a thoroughfare of luxury watch boutiques bearing some of the most illustrious names in fine watchmaking, the H. Moser & Cie. boutique is in good company. In his welcome speech, Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie., even jokingly refers to the shopping stretch as “Cortina Street”, referring to the Singapore-based watch retailer and the brands it partners.

“Opening our first boutique in Southeast Asia is both a milestone and a natural step for H. Moser & Cie. This boutique is not just a showcase for our creations; it is an invitation to experience our vision of independent watchmaking,” says Meylan.

Awash in the brand’s blue and white corporate hues, the H. Moser & Cie. boutique exemplifies its succinnt tagline. “Very Rare”. Inside, the watches are judiciously displayed and the atmosphere is more akin to a contemporary gallery than a conventional retail salon. It is a vibe that encourages unhurried engagement, where collectors can encounter core references while gleaming insights into the manufacture’s in-house production prowess.

For Cortina Watch, the opening extends a relationship shaped over generations. “The opening of the first H. Moser & Cie. boutique in Southeast Asia marks a meaningful new chapter in a relationship that began decades ago between the Meylan and Lim families. It reflects not only our shared values and longstanding partnership, but also the deep personal connections built over the years,” says Jeremy Lim, CEO of Cortina Watch.
