Hublot LVMH Watch Week 2025

From vibrant ceramic cases to meticulous engineering, the latest Hublot timepieces from LVMH Watch Week 2025 mustn’t be ignored

Hublot kicks off the new year with an exceptional trio of watches that embody the brand’s innovative spirit. From the intricate mechanical structure of the Big Bang Meca-10, now in a smaller 42mm case, to a slew of new colourful ceramic cases for the brand’s Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph these timepieces, unveiled as part of LVMH Watch Week 2025, showcase Hublot’s mastery of both materials and mechanics.

At the forefront is the reengineered Big Bang Meca-10, now presented in a more wearable 42mm case. First introduced in 2016, the Meca-10 intrigued watch enthusiasts with a skeletonised dial that revealed an unconventional arrangement of gears and bridges.

This year’s iteration maintains the signature skeletal architecture while offering refined ergonomics. Its standout feature—a 10-day power reserve indicator powered by a unique linear crémaillère system—adds both functionality and visual intrigue. Available in King Gold, titanium, and frosted carbon, each model radiates a distinct character, with finishes meticulously designed to complement its galvanically coloured movement.

Not to be outdone, the Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph celebrates the vibrant side of Hublot’s DNA. For the first time, watch collectors can now experience the collection’s sleek, barrel-shaped silhouette in coloured ceramic cases. Limited to 200 pieces per colour, the watches are now available in sand beige, dark green, and sky blue, imbuing the watch’s iconic case— a hallmark of the Spirit of Big Bang since its debut in 2014—with a playful yet refined energy. Beneath the open dials, the HUB4700 calibre—a modern evolution of the iconic El Primero movement—delivers 50 hours of power reserve.

Crowning this stellar lineup is the Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Green Saxem, a watch that epitomises Hublot’s reputation as a master of materials. Limited to just 18 pieces, it sports a striking emerald-green case made from Saxem, an alloy of aluminum oxide (the core component of sapphire) infused with rare earth elements such as thulium, holmium, and chromium.

Combining the toughness of sapphire with a gemstone-like brilliance, the transparent case is visually stimulating, thanks to its brilliant emerald-green sheen. Powered by the Maison’s MHUB6035 automatic tourbillon calibre, the timepiece boasts a 72-hour power reserve.

Whether it’s the technical ingenuity of the Meca-10, the vibrant hues of the latest Spirit of Big Bang timepieces, or the futuristic allure of the Green Saxem, Hublot’s latest offerings reaffirm the brand’s unique approach to watchmaking. We’re positive that enthusiasts and collectors alike are sure to find inspiration in these groundbreaking creations.
