Lamborghini Unveils One-Off Revuelto Opera Unica

The luxury Italian automobile company channels the Sardinian seascape with the unique Revuelto Opera Unica

A dream destination for those seeking an unspoiled Mediterranean paradise, Sardinia offers a sense of languid adventure with its crystalline waters and rugged coastlines. At Lamborghini, the magical Italian island also serves as an inspiration for the one-off Revuelto Opera Unica, sheathed in a gorgeous gradient blue sheen that recalls Sardinia’s captivating seascapes.

Unveiled at an exclusive dinner in the luxury resort of Cala di Volpe, the single-unit Revuelto Opera Unica was conceived by Lamborghini’s personalisation department, Ad Personam, together with the company’s in-house design studio, Lamborghini Centro Stile.

Imagine a Lamborghini Revuelto tearing down the freeway, while at the same time conjuring images of Sardinia’s surrounding azure waters, from the waves that rush against its ancient cliffs, to the serene blue that cradles its beaches at dusk.

The exterior paintwork of the car had taken over 475 hours to complete, starting with the careful masking of its body to create a canvas for the paint, to meticulous brush painting featuring three distinct shades of blue that have been specially concocted for this project. On the inside, the upholstery is also sheathed in the three shades of blue, and features a unique water-like stitching effect that required a special tool, which alone took 85 hours to construct.

But the hard work was worth it. This one-of-a-kind Revuelto Opera Unica is yet another outstanding example of the lengths that Lamborghini’s customisation department would go to, promising fantastical creations that are limited only by its customers’ imagination.

“Our clients can explore colourways, detailing, different materials, embroidery, and finishes inside and out with Ad Personam to produce a Lamborghini that is truly personalised to them,” says Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Lamborghini. “This Opera Unica takes our creativity a step further, demonstrating paint techniques and interior finishes that are reserved for Opera Unica one-offs.”
