The Lemmo Zero is a 12.8kg solution to growing urban density, and the need for flexible, sustainable transport
In pursuit of a bike that will make life just a bit easier, Munich-based design studio Zanzotti has created the Lemmo Zero, a foldable e-bike that makes transport transportable.
With the help of Berlin micro-mobility company Lemmo—also the creator of the One E+ Bike—the Lemmo Zero is a solution to growing urban density, and the need for flexible, sustainable transport. It’s a direct reflection of contemporary life and future city development, one guided by intelligent product design and electrified mobility.

The result is a bike that seamlessly transitions between riding and carrying, without feeling like a compromise either way. Aided magnetic system and quick-release lever, the two-wheeler can be reduced into a compact three-fold structure in just 15 seconds. Once folded, you can simply extend the seat post to engage the wheels for easy rolling through streets, stations and tight spaces. It can even fit inside a standard 28-inch suitcase, making it easy to take it on a plane.

It helps that it weighs just 12.8kg—a kilogram lighter than its closest competitor, the Brompton Electric T-Line—all thanks to an ultra-light laminated carbon fibre frame. This includes the removable 2.3kg Smartpac battery, the bike’s power source and portable energy supply. Riders enjoy an electric range of 30 to 40km, with the option of using the Lemmo Zero as a normal bike.
