Bottled happiness
To ring in the Lunar New Year, Johnnie Walker House Singapore has launched three festive collections, each containing Johnnie Blue Label whisky.
Keep Walking China celebrates Chinese ceramic artistry with its wraparound artwork. When four bottles are placed side by side, they depict the festivities of the Lunar New Year with an illustration of koi, dragons, fireworks and lanterns. Of course, the Great Wall of China makes an appearance too. Just 96 bottles are available (S$588 for 750ml).
The three deities, Fu, Lu and Shou make their marks in the second collection. This time, each deity is engraved onto an individual bottle in gold, proclaiming fortune, prosperity and longevity respectively. Sold in a set of three bottles (750ml each), just 15 sets (S$888) are available.
Rounding off the festive offerings is the Zodiac collection (S$5,888 for a set of 12 1-litre bottles), each of the 12 animals engraved at the back of the bottles. Designed for the Blue Label aficionado, only eight sets are available.
