These luxury brands will get you dressed to the nines for the Qixi Festival on 10 August

The celebration of love doesn’t stop on 14 February; in Chinese mythology, the seventh day of the seventh lunar month marks a festival equivalent to Valentine’s Day. Dubbed the Qixi Festival, the cherished cultural event brings couples together–blending ancient myths with contemporary expressions of romance and reminding everyone of the enduring power of love.

It is also during this occasion that luxury houses showcase their affection for consumers with collections that embody the same passion. Here are some of the luxury Qixi capsules of 2024 to look out for.

Though not a new launch, the Quatre collection, featuring four distinctive motifs from the archives, remains a testament to one’s authenticity and a true icon of self-love. In the latest Qixi campaign, “Freedom Adorns Me,” Boucheron’s global brand ambassador Xiao Zhan showcases the collection’s Spring-Summer bracelets and rings; his unrestrained style perfectly mirrors the Maison’s ethos of honouring your true self without fear.
