Vacheron Constantin unveils Métiers d’Art The Legend of the Chinese Zodiac – Year of the Goat
Vacheron Constantin is already thinking about 2027, unveiling two new métiers d’art watches to mark the Year of the Goat. Both feature a hands-free display, allowing a handsome goat at the centre to take all the focus. The dial was created using a mix of relief engraving, micro-painting, and grand feu enameling, making it a true work of art for the wrist. Driven by the in-house self-winding Calibre 2460 G4, the watches eschew traditional displays in favour of four apertures around the dial periphery showing trailing hours and minutes, plus jumping day of the week and date. It will be limited to 50 pieces (25 in pink gold and 25 in platinum). Price on request.

Maison Margiela and Gentle Monster launch collaborative eyewear
As a collaboration that’s meant to be, Maison Margiela and Gentle Monster have gotten together once more, unveiling a fourth collection just last week. Centred around the theme of Deconstruction, the 68-piece collection of sunglasses and optical frames appear crushed and modified. Oversized eyewear conceal the face while augmenting the wearer’s field of vision, while slim styles feature stitches woven as though floating over the frames’ edges.
