Pharrell Williams drops more jewellery for Tiffany & Co.

Few celebrities can tread back and forth between the masculine and feminine so convincingly as Pharrell Williams. Case in point, his Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams collection for Tiffany & Co. First launched in May of last year, the collection has been through a couple series, taking inspiration from Poseidon’s trident and white pearls respectively. This time, it’s all about Tahitian pearls, paired with 18k rose gold and pavé diamonds in a collection of earrings, a pendant, necklace, bracelet and ring. The patented Floeting platform has also been unveiled, creating the illusion of a “floating diamond” by elevating the stone above a setting without prongs or bezels.

Jaquet Droz’s last samurai

It’s been a decade since Jaquet Droz has done so, but it is finally revisiting the Japanese arts with the Tourbillon Skelet Sapphire – Bushidô. Manufactured in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the watch puts a face to the name with a 3D sculpture of the Bushidô warrior mask, which features Murano glass beads on its face and a painting of cherry blossom on its back. The single unique piece also boasts an eight-day power reserve, openworked red-gold oscillating weight and the fact that it’s made with no screws or inserts.
