Ultima Collection expands presence with two openings
You can always count on Ultima Collection for the ultimate vacation. The award-winning group of ultra-luxury chalets, hotels and spas has been disrupting “commonplace notions of luxury in hospitality” since 2016, creating unique experiences within exceptional destinations. This summer of 2025, two Ultima properties are expected to open: Ultima Promenade Gstaad (see featured photo), a historic chalet originally built by Prince Karim Aga Khan IV, will attract both winter sports enthusiasts and summer visitors; and Ultima Cologny Geneva, a modern lakeside villa retreat that’s 10 minutes from Geneva’s city centre.
The Chambelink Strass, a shoo-in
Christian Louboutin’s Chambeliss line of shoes been the definition of “snappy elegance” since its launch in 2021, when it was released as a classic derby with a sleek metal bar piercing its eyelets. This unique accessory is now being offered as Chambelink Strass, a standalone piece embodying masculine flair and ingenuity. As a subtle nod to classic menswear, this understated brass piece cleverly transforms the classic boots, moccasins or monk straps with edgy sophistication and as many as 200 shimmering rhinestones. Now available in silver, gold, rose gold and jet black.
Banyan Group celebrates its 30th year with record openings
The Banyan Group can finally reflect on a landmark 30th year and enter a new phase, continuing a meaningful evolution as it plants flags in new locations in Asia and beyond. The independent hospitality company will continue to grow with 15 new hotel and resort openings, as well as five branded residence developments, offering multi-concept spaces and layered experiences. These openings include the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, a 338-room resort inside Singapore’s Mandai Wildlife Reserve, and Ubuyu, a Banyan Tree Escape, the group’s first safari resort and opening in Tanzania.

Tod’s for Automobili Lamborghini’s second coming
Tod’s and Automobili Lamborghini just announced the second release of their shoe collection. In a collaboration born from two outstanding brands in Italian excellence, the iconic Tod’s Gommino meets the signature style of Automobili Lamborghini, with an expanded colour palette of dark green and navy blue. The codes of both brands also converge on the soles, where the Y-shaped signature of Lamborghini Revuelto’s daytime lights is merged with Tod’s Gommino iconic pebble sole.

Kim Soohyun, a Prada brand ambassador
Prominent Korean actor Kim Soohyun is now the latest face of Prada. From his first rise to fame with a leading role in Dream High (2011) to sparking a phenomenon across Asia in My Love from the Star (2013), Kim has continued to captivate audiences worldwide. In fact, a recent series he performed in—Queen of Tears (2024)—broke tvN’s four-year record for the highest viewership ratings and became Netflix’s standout K-drama of the year, further solidifying his position as one of the most sought-after and influential actors of his era.
