Arnold & Son’s inspiration by the Royal Navy

Arnold & Son recently launched the HM Pietersite, a beauty that gets its name from the Royal Navy and more—’HM’ refers to both His Majesty and a watch that only displays hours and minutes. It’s a simple one, compared to Arnold & Son’s other timepieces, but it’s got to make room for the main star, which is the dial made from pietersite, a rare gemstone from the chalcedony family. Known as the ‘stone of storms’, it gives the watch its dramatic blue and brown swirls, something that harkens back to the coast of Cornwall, a place often linked to the birthplace of founder John Arnold.

X-1 Jets redefines private aviation in uncertain times

At a point when geopolitical instability is a constant, it is imperative that private aviation evolves beyond comfort and convenience. As such, X-1 Jets has announced a major evolution of its JetCard programmes. JetCard holders, currently benefitting from seamless use of private jets and helicopters, now can apply JetCard hours to ‘Special Missions’, such as emergency evacuations, urgent family or corporate extractions, critical high-value cargo transport and access to complex or restricted regions.

Montblanc presents a short film

In a cinematic celebration of travel, personal connections and the timeless act of putting pen to paper, Montblanc presents Postcards from Italy, a Roman Coppola-directed film embracing the art of slowing down and finding joy in writing. Filmed at Palazzo Margherita, the Coppola family’s restored 19th-century residence in southern Italy, the short film features actors and friends of the brand spending a leisurely summer together, capturing restful moments from lounging in the shade to carefree doodling by the pool. Jil Sander x Puma

Puma and Jil Sander continue their creative dialogue with the introduction of the new K-Street, a refined pair of sneakers designed under the direction of Simone Bellotti. Defined by the close, contoured fit and an ultra-thin sole, the shoes take after the natural lines of the foot, balancing softness with tension, and capturing a sense of speed through its sinuous shape. Offered in two material executions and three colourways, the K-Street is now available globally at Jil Sander and various retail partners.

Le Labo’s Cyprès 21 Indigo

Following the ancient Japanese art of aizome, which is indigo dyeing that’s been cultivated for centuries, Le Labo has worked closely with a family workshop on this special edition classic candle. Through the family’s practiced hands (that’s five generations, mind you), each piece emerges transformed into indelible gradients of colour, giving life to an ongoing dialogue between time-honoured wisdom and elemental alchemy.
