Audemars Piguet opens AP House Singapore

There is finally an AP House in Singapore, which you will find nestled within the historic Raffles Hotel’s Bar and Billiard Room. As Southeast Asia’s flagship destination, the 1,000-sqm oasis for AP lovers draws inspiration from the brand’s home in Le Brassus, and seamlessly blends local flair with Audemars Piguet’s rich legacy and origins. Reflecting the island nation’s favourite pastime (read: eating), it will also feature the first-ever AP Cafe, serving select Swiss dishes reimagined through a Singaporean lens.

Cartier celebrates watchmaking talents of tomorrow

When you’ve got as much talent as seven young watchmaking apprentices we know, you might see yourself at the next Cartier Watchmaking Talents of Tomorrow prize ceremony. Just this month at La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland, the heart of the watchmaking region, the 27th edition of this trailblazing contest saw seven of 11 finalists take home awards under three categories: Apprentices, Technicians and a Special Jury’s Prize. Winners include Marta Maziers from Belgium, who won first prize (Apprentice) for her creation, La Reine du Temps, and Hugo Mandrillon from France, who topped the Technicians category for his Œil du Temps telescope creation. While every winner received a Cartier watch and an invitation to explore the Maison’s universe, both first-prize winners have also been awarded an internship.

Channel your inner fire with Terre d’Hermès

As far as intoxicating scents go, the Terre d’Hermès Eau de Parfum Intense is well, pretty intense. Designed to channel the power of your inner fire, this new expression first brings coffee and liquorice to mind before leading into the freshness of bergamot, combined with black pepper, burning wood and lava stone. Available from 1 March 2025, it will retail for S$231 for 100ml and S$169 for 50ml.
