The latest MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon collection will launch in two drops, with the first available now and the second set to arrive on 17 November
When MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon first joined forces in 2022, the partnership felt like a natural fit, bringing together two brands united by a subversive approach to footwear. Four years on, the collaboration continues to evolve, revisiting archival prototypes through a contemporary lens while introducing two new designs that push their shared spirit of experimentation forward.
Available now through MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon’s online platforms, stores and select multi-brand retailers, the XT-MM6 leads the first drop in three new colourways: a dynamic multicolour, tapioca and violet, and deep urban green.
Joining the lineup is the MM6 Crossderby, a new silhouette that brings Salomon’s technical trail-running heritage into conversation with MM6’s experimental design language. A polished leather Derby upper meets an outdoor sole, finished with Salomon’s signature drawstring lacing system. It’s the kind of shoe you’ll want to bring on a trip, versatile enough to work with a range of outfits while offering the functionality to take you from exploring the city to a gym session.

Rounding out the first drop is the return of the XT-15 Backpack, complete with a white rain cover stamped with a black logo.
The first drop sets the tone, but there’s more to come. Arriving on 17 November, the second release continues the collaboration’s dialogue between technical function and unconventional design. Taking centre stage is the MM6 XT-Boot, an evolution of an earlier silhouette that reimagines the familiar form through a more experimental lens. A soft inner shoe wraps naturally around the foot, while the upper takes cues from the hood of a puffer jacket. Worn open around the calf, it reads as a boot; drawn in, it takes on the appearance of an external sock. The silhouette arrives in three colourways: Vanilla Ice, Black and Dusty Yellow.

The ACS Pro 3 also returns in two new colourways: a sleek, urban combination of black and green gables, alongside a more expressive mix of cosmic sky, heron and violet tulip.
Together, the releases continue to blur the boundaries between technical sportswear and everyday dressing. With performance footwear finding its way into increasingly unexpected territory, perhaps it’s time athleisure made a comeback.
