Spanning 2,200 square metres across two levels, Moncler’s new flagship brings together the spirit of the mountains with the energy of New York
After a decade-long relationship with New York, Moncler has decided to commit further by opening the largest-ever global flagship on Fifth Avenue.
Located at the base of the General Motors Building, a 50-storey modernist skyscraper that’s just steps from Central Park, the 2,200-sqm, two-level store brings together the spirit of the mountains with the energy of New York, reinterpreting Moncler’s alpine heritage through soaring volumes, sculptural architecture and a carefully considered sense of scale. The glass façade is clad in Saint Williams granite integrated with LED strips, while the signature checkerboard floor alternates between polished and raw textures, as a nod towards nature’s untouched beauty.

Not just bricks and mortar, Moncler Fifth Avenue is the ultimate expression of the brand’s ongoing dialogue with New York. Designed as a destination for community, discovery and cultural exchange, the Moncler universe is brought to life through interactive experiences as well as Fifth Avenue-exclusive products, services and activations.
On the first level, visitors will be greeted with the latest Men’s, Women’s and Enfant designs from the main line, alongside the latest footwear innovations and designer co-creations from the Moncler Genius platform. The next floor up is dedicated entirely to Moncler Grenoble, offering a complete wardrobe for mountain life year-round, from lightweight layering systems to high-performance skiwear. There are also interpretations of Stöckli skis, POC helmets and snowboards created in collaboration with brand ambassador and snowboarder Shaun White.

“Moncler Fifth Avenue is a brand statement on one of the most iconic addresses in the world,” said Remo Ruffini, executive chairman of Moncler S.p.A. “[It is a] place shaped by the ideas, culture and spirit of the city, while remaining true to the brand’s DNA. It’s not simply the opening of Moncler’s largest flagship store in the world, it’s also about being part of the life of the people in the city, those who live it, those who pass through it, those who come to be inspired by it.”
