The science of art has always been one to intrigue, but what about the science of beauty? It appears that Swiss luxury skincare brand, La Prairie, has found the missing links, using a scientific approach to define timeless beauty.
The story goes: on the shores of Lake Leman sat Clinique La Prairie, where a doctor spent his years researching on methods to restore youth, health and vitality. Through somewhat unconventional and revolutionary methods, the clinic offered anti-aging solutions and soon saw a cult following of royalties and celebrities.
Today, the La Prairie offers a luxurious line of skincare products, its latest being the White Caviar Illuminating Pearl Infusion.
The infusion (S$850 for 30ml) is said to target melanin-induced spots, redness and dullness of the skin using natural ingredients such as golden caviar extract and an oil-soluble form of Vitamin C. According to the brand, in just four weeks, users will see a more luminous and even skin tone. In addition, firmness and elasticity of the skin are also restored, as the infusion stimulates the skin’s renewal.
