This 12 November 2026 at JW Marriott Hotel & Suites Saigon, Perspectives 2027 brings together influential voices from across luxury, technology, design, real estate, hospitality and wellness to explore the forces reshaping the industry
For more than a century, luxury has been defined by scarcity: the rare timepiece, the coveted bag, the object accessible to only a select few. Today, that equation is being rewritten.
Demographic shifts, new technology, and a deeper rethinking of what it means to live well are transforming our understanding of scarcity itself. Will the things we value most in the future still be things we can own?
Perspectives 2027 tackles that question. As the traditional markers of luxury evolve, what will create value and drive growth over the next decade?
Perspectives 2027
Presented by Robb Report Vietnam, alongside Robb Report Singapore, Robb Report Malaysia, Robb Report Philippines and Beyond the Boardroom Singapore, the full-day forum at JW Marriott Hotel & Suites Saigon will be packed with a series of keynotes, panel discussions and case-study sessions.
Why Ho Chi Minh City? Vietnam is fast becoming one of the most closely watched luxury markets in Asia. A new generation of consumers is coming along, propelled by rising wealth and entrepreneurial ambition, and with their own ideas about how success should look.
That makes the country an unusual case. Luxury brands tend to see Vietnam as a market to be reached, but it may also be a place where the meaning of consumption, experience, and status is being worked out in real time. The conventional question is how quickly Vietnam can catch up with older, more established luxury markets. Perspectives 2027 poses a more compelling possibility—if Vietnam could speak a luxury language of its own.
There will be nine sessions forming a continuous narrative, addressing artificial intelligence, where the next wave of luxury growth will come from, and more. Perspectives 2027 does not seek to send a day of discussion with definitive predictions. Instead, it leaves leaders with a more difficult question to take back to the boardroom: which assumptions about luxury are shaping your business today, and how many of them will hold true a decade from now.
The first speakers announced
These questions will be taken up by people who are watching the market change up close, such as leaders, thinkers, and practitioners who are navigating these shifts and, in some cases, driving them.
