The Porsche Singapore Classic 2025 is set to deliver world-class golf and entertainment

By Special Feature 14 March, 2025

Golf fans have much to look forward to at the Porsche Singapore Classic 2025

After a highly successful showing last year, the Porsche Singapore Classic is set to return from 20 to 23 March for another thrilling showcase of world-class golf. Now in its third edition—and its second with Porsche as Title Partner—the tournament will once again welcome some of Asia’s finest to the Classic Course at Laguna National Golf Resort Club.

Among them is Kiradech Aphibarnrat, the four-time DP World Tour winner from Thailand who came agonisingly close to winning last year’s event, only to be edged out in a dramatic three-hole playoff against Swedish professional Jesper Svensson.

“The Porsche Singapore Classic is always one of the highlights of my year,” says Kiradech. “Last year I was so close to a win at Laguna, but I hope to put in another good performance this year to go one better.”

Joining him is an impressive lineup of international talent, including Porsche brand ambassador Paul Casey of England, who has 15 wins on the DP World Tour, and two-time PGA Tour champion Robert MacIntyre of Scotland. They will be up against a strong Asian contingent, with China’s Haotong Li and Malaysia’s Gavin Green among those hoping to make their mark. Singapore, meanwhile, will be represented by teenage qualifier Brayden Lee, who was the top Singaporean amateur at the qualifying event in February.

For those seeking the best vantage points, several key locations have been designated to offer an optimal viewing experience while bringing spectators closer to the action. The First Tee Gallery provides a front-row seat to the opening moments of each round and a clear line of sight to the adjacent 10th tee, giving fans the chance to observe players as they strategise their way through the opening stretch.

Those who prefer a more dynamic viewing experience should park themselves at the Spectator Hub. With panoramic views of holes 3, 9, 12, and 18, the Spectator Hub—dubbed “Shinjuku Station” for its centrality and continuous flow of action—offers a unique vantage point from where fans can catch players teeing off at multiple locations without needing to move far.

Like last year, attendees can look forward to a rich array of activities and experiences to complement the thrilling action on the golf course. From immersive fan zones to exclusive Porsche showcases, the tournament promises an atmosphere that extends well beyond the fairways.

The fan-favourite Porsche Zone, for example, will return with interactive experiences, including the chance to design custom Porsche posters, engage in virtual driving simulations, and explore the Carrera Kids Course. Those seeking to refine their short game, meanwhile, can try their hand at the LGA Putting Challenge, where instructors from the Leadbetter Golf Academy will guide participants through a miniature version of the Classic Course.

For a more lighthearted affair, fans can test their skill and dexterity in Par-Tee Time, a game that requires balancing 18 golf balls on 18 tees as quickly as possible, or try their hand at Greenside Tic-Tac-Toe, a putting game that puts a strategic twist on a childhood favorite.

Beyond these activities, Porsche will once again showcase its latest models, allowing fans to get up close to and even test drive the brand’s most coveted vehicles. Adding an extra layer of excitement, the tournament’s signature hole-in-one challenge will return to the par-3 17th hole, where a perfectly struck shot could land one amateur golfer a Porsche Taycan Turbo S.

Of course, the main draw remains the competition itself. With a total prize purse of US$2.5 million, the stakes are high. Fans can expect an elite field battling for the title, ensuring four days of gripping action and top-tier entertainment.

Tickets are available here, with complimentary entry for those aged 16 and under when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
