Cool skies and spirited camaraderie set the stage for Robb Report Singapore’s Golf Masters 2025 at Laguna National Golf Resort Club
Presented by CIMB Bank, Robb Report Singapore’s annual Golf Masters returned to the Classic Course at Laguna National Golf Resort Club, where 28 flights gathered for a day that combined serious play with relaxed camaraderie.

The morning began with a passing drizzle as golfers checked in and enjoyed a leisurely pre-game lunch at Greenhouse, Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore’s forest-inspired restaurant. By the time cards were marked and buggies had set off, the skies had cleared into a cool, cloud-covered afternoon—ideal for tackling the Classic Course. Considered a sterner test than its sister Masters Course, it is a favourite among players who welcome a challenge.

If the course required resolve, the hole-in-one prizes demanded composure. Rewards included the new Corvette Stingray (launched in Singapore this July), a S$100,000 cash prize, a Franck Muller Long Island Evolution 7 Days Power Reserve valued at S$61,500, and S$50,000 in designer furnishings from W. Atelier. None were claimed, but the prizes certainly sharpened the competitive edge.

The Classic Course proved its reputation: undulating greens, strategic bunkering, and enticing risk-reward moments. Flights returned with tales of triumphs and near misses. The mood, however, never wavered; defined by easy banter, sportsmanship, and the convivial spirit that makes the Golf Masters a competition and a reunion.

Evening festivities unfolded in Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore’s ballroom, where a seven-course dinner was paired with The Glendronach. Between courses, the tournament’s finest were recognised for consistency and flair.
The lucky draw followed, drawing audible gasps as guests vied for experiences ranging from staycations at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel and Grand Hyatt Singapore to a three-night wellness retreat for two at Chiva- Som Hua Hin.
There were no holes in one this year, but the Golf Masters delivered on its promise: rigorous golf, warm hospitality, and an evening that lingered. As guests drifted into the night—some comparing notes on the Classic’s toughest pins, others already planning their next round—the consensus was clear: same time, next year.
