Key in ignition

You’ve read it right. After its resounding success in 2016, Robb Report Singapore’s Car Of The Year is back with a second instalment.

The week-long event, held from 10 – 16 July, will see judges test-drive the latest supercars in Singapore, putting cars through the test as they navigate through our concrete jungle terrain. Thereafter, they’ll evaluate the cars based on handling, speed, quality and design, before casting a vote as to which will be Robb Report Singapore’s Car Of The Year 2017.

What’s more, this year, we’re opening our beetle-wing doors (a nod to last year’s winner, the McLaren 570S) to the public! Consider this a formal invitation, join us and be part of the fun.

Car enthusiast or not, we’ve lined up a list of activities to keep you occupied. Here are the different ways you can participate.

1) As a judge
Join the entourage and play a part in deciding which automobile will be crowned Robb Report Singapore’s Car Of The Year 2017. Embark on a full day of test-drives, and when you’re taking a break, visit booths set up by generous co-sponsors that include A. Lange & Sohne and Degussa.

Lunch and dinner will be equally extravagant affairs too, as you’ll be hosted in our favourite celebrity restaurants in MBS, ensuring a jolly good time. What’s more, you’ll be able to invite a friend to join the fellow judges and you for dinner as you relive the day’s events.

2) As a visitor
This year, we’ll be giving the public a chance to see what happens behind the scenes. Our doors are open from 6.30pm – 9pm from Monday to Saturday (with the exception of Wednesday and Thursday for private events), and from 10am – 6pm on Sunday. We’ll be showcasing more than 40 rare vintage cars which have been specially curated by Luxglove, and art pieces from Gillman Barracks’ Partners and Mucciaccia gallery.

Interested in learning more about sculptures, and how they’re brought to life? Participate in a live sculpture painting while learning more about The Red Pencil, a non-profit organisation that helps families and children cope with disasters, illnesses and trauma through art therapy. You’ll also get a chance to bid for exciting products, where proceeds will fund the organisation’s efforts.

So mark your calendars and get ready for our flag-off! We’ll see you on Monday, 10 July, at 9am.
