Rosewood’s debut ski resort brings ’60s Alpine glamour to Courchevel 1850

By Robb Report Singapore 4 March, 2026

The Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin offers direct access to Les Trois Vallées, the world’s largest ski domain

If the idea of a wellness retreat means spending a week at a resort, working out, eating well and getting a good massage in, a winter resort with direct ski-in, ski-out access should fit just the bill.

Along the lines of new, exclusive and contemporary elegance, the Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin is a must. Located in the prestigious Jardin Alpin enclave of Courchevel 1850, the resort sits perched 1,850 metres above sea level with direct access to Les Trois Vallées, the world’s largest ski domain.

The rooms

Behind a facade composed of Vals Quartzite, warm wood and copper accents, the property features 51 thoughtfully designed rooms, suites and penthouses, each maintaining a constant dialogue with the surrounding mountains. Designed by the acclaimed Tristan Auer, every room has a private seated terrace, an effortless extension of the living space to the outdoors, allowing guests to take in sweeping views of the snow-covered peaks.

Those travelling in larger groups can go for the two-bedroom penthouses (there are two), each decked in hand-blown Murano crystal, mirrored copper-coloured glass and a modern take on the traditional Alpine fireplace. Groups of eight will find themselves comfortable in the Studio KO-designed Jardin Alpin Apartment, an art lover’s haven equipped with a private elevator, expansive terraces, a private cinema and professional kitchen.

The food and drink

There is SALTO that serves as a sunlit gathering spot by day and a sophisticated restaurant by night. Led by chef Gioia Baek, guests are invited to feast on alpine-inspired cuisine—blue lobster risotto and vitello tonnato, to give you an idea—before heading to the nearby lounge for a night cap and more late-evening indulgences.

The spa

Of course, with the amount of skiing you will be doing, the muscles are going to ache for a massage. Rosewood’s Asaya Spa, your answer to your post-ski recovery and wellness, offers a range of restorative treatments to ease your body and mind. There’s the Deep Alpine Massage, the resort’s exclusive treatment designed for mountain recovery, as well as the Ski Legs Revival Massage, if you prefer a more focused remedy.

Rates begin at €2,900 per night, inclusive of breakfast. Featured photo by Ben Anders
