It could be envy
The Sanlorenzo 52Steel, as its name implies, is a 52m superyacht rendered in steel from the manufacturer’s La Spezia boatyard. But its name only tells part of the story, as this particular 52Steel, Seven Sins, has been beautifully customised with a host of clever touches.
Its five-deck layout has been tailored for maximum use of interior space and maximum natural light transmission, with vast expanses of glazing across its two main decks. The swimming pool on the main deck has a transparent floor, which floods the beach club beneath it with natural light. Light coloured wood decking and Paola Lenti furniture adds to the impression of airiness.
The centrepiece of the boat, however, is the central ‘floating’ staircase, crafted from glass and Carrara marble. It’s just as imposing on the outside, being Sanlorenzo’s largest yacht built to date, with an exterior design drawn up in collaboration with Officina Italiana Design.
