Aman Maldives is on its way
It seems Aman is set on making yet more waves in the industry. Just a month after laying the keel of its motor yacht, the group has begun work on stamping its name on yet another beloved destination: Maldives. While an opening date is yet to be confirmed, we do have some insights into Aman’s plans for the property. Centred on the group’s signature minimalist approach, with an emphasis on harmonising with the surrounding environment, the resort will feature 52 keys and 16 branded residences. Designed by Kerry Hill Architects, the resort’s design and architecture will blend into the island’s natural setting, drawing from Maldivian architectural influences, with a focus on creating spaces that possess a serene opulence synonymous with Aman.
The Macallan launches a collaboration with Cirque du Soleil
In the world of whisky, oak begets flavour, and this latest chapter of The Macallan’s Harmony Collection won’t let you forget that. Released as a part of a collaboration with Cirque du Soleil are the Harmony Vibrant Oak and Harmony Guardian Oak—two exceptional but distinct creations. The former gets its creamy vanilla palate from time spent in first-fill American and second-fill sherry-seasoned oak casks, while the latter gains its sticky ginger sweetness from first-fill European and second-fill sherry-seasoned casks. Carrying the collection’s artistic and environmental spirit, this edition also features oak chippings, a by-product of oak casks created for The Macallan, repurposed for the box and bottle labels.

There will also be an in-house team of authentication experts validating the provenance of every bottle, continuing its longstanding reputation as a respected and trusted merchant.
Chloé L’Eau de Parfum Intense
The next time you surprise your better half with roses, make it roses and then some. Chloé’s new L’Eau de Parfum, a symbol of visionary femininity, revisits the Maison’s iconic flower—the rose—with abundant softwoods. The sensuality of the rose is captured at full potential to create a complex intensity, while a bouquet of warm, ambery softwoods unfolds, with each wood more concentrated than the last. Ambroxan lends a woody musk, Cashmeran offers a luxurious sensuality, while cedar enhances the character of the fragrance that embodies the “freedom of the Chloé woman.”
Capella Singapore’s newest bar concept
As an ode to Sentosa Island’s pineapple plantation history, Capella Singapore unveils a brand-new bar, aptly named The Pineapple Room. Bolstered by two al fresco terraces, The Pineapple Room offers the perfect setting for intimate gatherings. Catch up with a dear friend within the room, or you take it to the outdoor terraces for stunning views of the sunset over lush greenery. As the hours slip by, refresh yourself with a selection of cocktails that subtly weaves a nod to the pineapple theme. With tropical pineapple at its base, The Pineapple Room presents Triple P as its signature cocktail, with complementary reposado, agave nectar, lime and orange bitters, topped off with a pinch of chilli salt.
