Gerald Genta brings on Gentissima

Those who are familiar with the late Gerald Genta would know that his watches are as legendary as he was; not for the faint of heart, they are more than purely horological, but jewels for the wrist. In this latest Gerald Genta collection is Gentissima, a line of three watches inspired by the 1994 Oursin and a preview of the brand’s in-house experimental design lab. All three variations feature a different coloured convex titanium case studded with 223 beads, and continue to embody Genta’s love of the eccentric side of watch design. Yours for S$32,000 (anthracite and white gold), S$37,000 (black and yellow gold) and S$48,000 (pink, rose gold and diamonds) at The Hour Glass.

Top athlete brings Omega to new heights

If the name, Armand “Mondo” Duplantis, rings a bell, you would probably chuckle at the pun above. Duplantis is quite literally at the top of his sport, being the current World and Olympic pole vaulting champion. Last April, he broke the world record for the eighth time in his career, setting a new height of 6.24 metres and giving Omega another reason to take a leap. The Swedish brand ambassador has inspired the new Seamaster Aqua Terra, a 41mm timepiece of blue and yellow (hello, Swedish flag) and intricate details celebrating Duplantis’ athletic achievements. Expect a varnished central seconds hand shaped like a pole vault and Super-LumiNova at the top, representing the grip of the pole.

Hublot kicks off the 5th UEFA Euro

Hublot loves football. It’s a passion that’s been burning for nearly two decades, and one that’s been kicked into high gear with a partnership with UEFA Euro since 2008. Marking the brand’s fifth consecutive partnership with the competition, Hublot’s journey continues with iconic Big Bang-shaped referee board and the Big Bang e Gen3 connected watch, specially designed for referees. With ambassador Kylian Mbappé and friends of the brand, such as Marcel Desailly and Ada Hegerberg, Hublot remains at the heart of football and stands proud alongside other competitions like FIFA World Cup and Champions League.
