A touch of Italian mastery at Tod’s new flagship boutique

By Robb Report Singapore 14 September, 2026

Fine bubbles, botanical charms, and a first look at the new Tod’s flagship boutique defined an intimate evening celebrating exceptional leather craftsmanship

The clinking of champagne glasses and easy banter set a casual and convivial tone as Robb Report Singapore partnered with Tod’s to host an intimate group of readers for an evening of connection and craftsmanship. Held at the brand’s newly opened flagship boutique at Takashimaya, the soiree offered guests a glimpse into the heart of Italian artisanal heritage.

The boutique provided a striking backdrop and is notable for housing the brand’s fourth global JP Club. Following outposts in Los Angeles, Macau, and Milan, the residence-inspired enclave offers a private and elevated shopping experience in the heart of Singapore’s premier retail district.

As part of the programme, a master artisan from Italy demonstrated the house’s renowned leathercraft. Guests gathered closely, watching as he worked through the meticulous skill required to construct two of the house’s most enduring icons: the Gommino loafer and the T Timeless bag.

The evening closed with a personalised gift, as guests were invited to create and customise their own Tod’s leather charm. Designed exclusively as a memento for the occasion, the charm was shaped like an orchid, a nod to Singapore’s national flower and a fitting symbol of this cross-cultural celebration.

As the night wound down and guests drifted out with their bespoke floral mementos in hand, the consensus was one of quiet appreciation, not only for the convivial atmosphere but for the timeless art of Italian craftsmanship that Tod’s continues to champion.
