Earlier this year, the guys at 1-Atico took over the premises of Salt Grill & Sky Bar and boy, were we thrilled. There was finally a reason to dine at a shopping mall – Fire, where Argentine food is barbecued in a wood-fired hearth grill, right on the 55th floor of Ion Orchard. This month, we’ll be back for a six-course dinner featuring the best of Fire – Mud Crab Rescoldo, Slow-Cooked Sherry- and Orange-Marinated Iberico Pork Ribs and Patagonian Red Prawns Parrilla. Nikkei cuisine is pretty cool. Put Peruvian ingredients and Japanese techniques together, and that’s what you’ve got. At Flnt, the sister restaurant to Fire at 1-Atico, Nikkei cuisine spans across dishes like Warm Sushi (flame-seared salmon and ikura) and Ceviche de Pulpo (octopus, leche de tigre and wasabi stem), which is what you’ll also get at Wine Lust’s five-course sake-pairing dinner, happening for only one night this September.
